A trip aboard a houseboat is a royal way to experience the backwaters of Kochi, Kumarakom and Alleppey. Cruise along the narrow canals enjoying a view to the rice paddies, lush foliage and backwater villages, feast on home-cooked local cuisine, and recline on the open-air day bed on the bow of the houseboat.
The traditional houseboats are spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a washroom and ample living space. At nightfall you will be cloaked in the magic of the backwaters and sleep to the sound of the waters lapping the wooden hull.
